An independent project to design a Workplace for 30 members with the budget of £50,000, for a brand of our choice, choosing the location and site that I thought reflects my brand. I was in charge of choosing the size and the look of the space from our site research that I have conducted. For this brief I have decided to create an office space for a publishing company - Harper Collins. My choice for doing so was because I really enjoy reading in my spare time, therefore I wanted to use my hobby to design an ideal and beautiful office space. This workplace needed to include all of the necessary resources that employees of Harper Collins would need such as a break room, male, female and disabled bathroom, locker room, two office spaces, reception, printing room, conference room and lastly a large working space for the employees to work at their desks.
